The Senior Service
A deserted railway station apart from two women – one young one old.
This short film focuses on two characters who have both been significantly impacted by events in the cold war.
Casting is complete and we are now scouting out locations with a view to filming it in the spring of 2026.
Company Man
When you give your whole working life to a company you expect something back in return, but Isaac gets a bit more than he bargained for!
Principle photography is complete and the film is currently in post-production
The Knot of Rope
A small group of club members have been meeting regularly to consider if an older script written by David Price could be rewritten and refocussed. This full length film (over an hour) concerns the last person to be hanged in Bristol in 1963.
We are working on a treatment that will tell the story from the viewpoint of one of the prison officers who guarded the offender in the days and weeks leading up to his demise.
This project will potentially involve the whole club. We will need around 20 actors plus extras, the requirement for costumiers, make-up artists and the most problematic of all, suitable locations and props.
The film is currently being developed in pre-production.
